These EUH statements provide supplementary information for specific substances and mixtures.

    • EUH 001 Explosive when dry.

    • EUH 014 Reacts violently with water.

    • EUH 018 In use, may form flammable/explosive vapour-air mixture.

    • EUH 019 May form explosive peroxides.

  • Health Properties:

    • EUH 029 Contact with water liberates toxic gas.

    • EUH 203 Contains hexavalent chromium. May cause an allergic reaction.

    • EUH 204 Contains isocyanates. May cause an allergic reaction.

    • EUH 205 Contains epoxy compounds. May cause an allergic reaction.

    • EUH 206 Attention! Do not use in combination with other products. Dangerous gases (chlorine) may be released.

    • EUH 207 Attention! Contains cadmium. Hazardous vapors develop during use. See manufacturer’s instructions. Observe the safety regulations.

    • EUH 208 Contains (substance name). May cause an allergic reaction.

    • EUH 209 Can become highly flammable in use.

5. Precautionary Statements (P-phrases)

 

These statements describe recommended measures that should be taken to minimize or prevent adverse effects from exposure to a hazardous chemical or improper storage or handling. This is a general list; always refer to individual product labels for specific precautions.
